Beach Beacon Awana Clubs meet from 6:00 - 7:45pm Wednesday evenings through the school year. We are four clubs in one with programs designed to teach the Gospel at age appropriate levels from Pre-K to Middle School.
(Age 3 to 4): Cubbies is fun with a purpose—to reach and train kids for Jesus Christ. Games, puppets, crafts, awards and other activities transform our preschool program into a lively experience where they study their books and have weekly memory verses to learn. Cubbies, where fun and learning go hand in hand.
(K thru 2nd Grade): Club meetings combine learning with fun to create an atmosphere of excitement for churched and un-churched kids alike. Along the way, Sparky, the friendly firefly, encourages boys and girls to learn verses and complete assignments throughout their handbooks.
(3rd thru 5th Grades): Truth and Training reflects the passion of Awana to teach third through fifth grade boys and girls the Truth of God’s Word and to Train them to follow Christ in their daily lives. Our goal is that many of today’s young people will become tomorrow’s church leaders. T&T is the program that trains the leaders of tomorrow today!
(6th, 7th & 8th Grades): Awana’s curriculum for Middle School Youth. Students will learn God’s story while developing a habit of daily bible study. Each lesson digs deep into God’s Word with plenty of time for discussion as well as continuing to encourage scripture memorization. Our Trek program is incorporated into our Beach Beacon Youth Fellowship's Wednesday night Bible Study and fellowship led by our Youth Pastor, Neil Johnston.
