Dear Family and Friends,

Peace to you. We thank God each time we think of you and your family.
Thank you for your partnership in His Kingdom Ministry. It's so good to see many old friends and make new ones. God is so good, so faithful.

One morning I went to a graveyard. There was a beautiful tombstone with the inscription. "Lord, into thy hands I surrender my daughter. We will see you soon." I cried. Slowly and humbly I bent and sat down. My heart was stirred, joy filled with tears. I know my daughter Joy was absent in the body but present in the Lord. Like a caterpillar, she had been set free from her cocoon and transformed as a beautiful butterfly.

I looked at the empty space next to this grave. Empty and waiting... I have purchased those lots for me and my wife. Immediately, I bowed, "Lord, thank you for keeping me alive. I don't deserve it. My only desire is to be with you one day. While you lend me this breath, help me live to tell others of your salvation. Help me love you and fear you." Life is short. Live for Christ!

Quickly, I drove to preach at a church in Moore and gave an invitation. Over 60 people committed themselves to go where He leads to witness and preach the gospel. In another church, we challenged them - "Honor God. Give Him the best years of our lives not just our old retirement years. Serve God now.

You can sit by the beach and enjoy the scenery or go onto a boat with Jesus.
In the sea it may be rough and stormy but you will see Jesus calming the storm and walking on the water. Are you bored on the beach? Come live for Jesus." The Spirit came upon them with power. 19 people came forward - kneeling down in tears - surrendering themselves to the Lord to fulltime ministry! We rejoiced with them.

Family:
One day Janice and Andrew came to my office and the church treasurer handed me a paycheck. The children's eyes sparkled. OK - I showed them my pay check. My intent was to encourage them that the Lord always provides - He never fails. Janice was only 4 years old. As she grew older she realized my pay was not much - well below average - close to 'poverty'. We are 'naturally' frugal. Janice prayed to God that she would not burden her parents with college expenses. Quietly and persistently she prayed and studied hard.

Recently, we received news that Janice was awarded scholarships that will fully cover all her college expenses at Baylor U. Immediately, I went into my 'closet of prayer' rejoicing in tears. I cried not because I got to save a lot of money. I cried with joy because the Lord fulfilled His promise to my children that He will provide.

"Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart." (Psalms 37:4)

Janice personally experienced God's faithfulness. This is her life-line in ministry. The Lord is teaching our children that "Jehovah Jireh" is the Lord not parents. Amen.

Praise and Prayer:
o Andrew is doing summer intern in Hong Kong and "English Camp" in
the Big Country. Pray for the anointing of the Holy Spirit.

o July 4-9 Summer Mission to East Taiwan - Taitung Aborigines +
Typhoon Refugees. 5 churches and 40+ coworkers will be reaching out to 100+ students. Pray for our unity and anointing of Holy Spirit.

o Pray for His wisdom and boldness as we train the locals to take the
gospel to other remote places. Pray for "The 15" who will go to some U U P G - 'forbidden land'.

Until He Returns,
