Youth on Fire is a ministry of Virginia Beach Beacon Baptist Church for students in 6th—12th grade. Our ministry seeks to provide an exciting, God focused atmosphere where youth will WORSHIP Him in all that they do, CONNECT with each other on a personal level, have a heart to SERVE others and be bold to SHARE the Gospel.
Sunday School- Each Sunday at 9:45 Middle School and High School meet separately to dig into God’s word. Youth have the opportunity deepen their relationship with God and each other in these small groups.
Middle School Youth Group on Sundays from 5:30 -7:30. We serve in the AWANA program as verse listeners for the first hour then go into our own Bible study time. Expect lots of fun, digging into God's word and discussion time.
High School Youth Group on Mondays from 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm 9th - 12th graders gather together for fellowship, sharing, and Bible study. We tackle the real life challenges that our youth face each day and learn how to reach out to those around us ,being true followers of Jesus Christ.

FEBRUARY 13-17 Life Book Saturation-
The
Life Book Movement is best described as a short-term mission trip in
which middle and high school students get the opportunity to offer the
gift of The Life Book to their classmates during school. The Life Book's
unique design engages searching students with the truth of God's Word
as they are introduced to Jesus Christ. Using an interactive format with
honest student comments and real-life questions in the margins, readers
are drawn into the only story that can change their lives forever. We
have 1050 Life Books to distribute.

Judgement
House is a true-to-life drama, played out in a series of rooms that
tells the story of the lives of several teenagers. See what happens
after death to those who accepted Christ and those who rejected Him.
Come take a look at "Web of Lies". Invite your friends; this powerful
production is sure to touch hearts and change lives.

at VBBBC again this year joined by Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church, Tabernacle UMC, South Norfolk BC, & Mt. Pleasant Mennonite Church. David Flannery is returning as our guest speaker along with the UVA Intervarsity band for worship. Small groups will be led by young adults from our churches. Youth will stay in host homes of church members.
APRIL 27-28 30 HR Famine-
Youth
will go without food for 30 hours to learn what it takes to overcome
hunger. They raise funds to help feed hungry children and families
around they world through pledges.
Every
$30 raised by our group can help feed and care for a child for a month.
And because the Famine is powered by World Vision, we're not just
feeding kids for today - we're helping them and their families overcome
poverty for a lifetime.
We're
doing more than raising money for a good cause. We're stepping outside ourselves - to help save lives . . . and change the way we see the
world.
Along the way, our group will
learn about hunger and make a difference in the lives of children living
in poverty. And to top it all off, we'll be drawn closer to God and one
another as we experience hunger firsthand.
